RESIDENTS PASS THEIR BOARD EXAMS: Oak Hill Hospital announced that 100 percent of the graduating class of its Internal Medicine Residency program have passed their board certification exam, and are now certified in internal medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine. The 2015-18 Internal Medicine graduates are the second class to graduate from Oak Hill Hospital's internal medicine residency program.

DOCTORS PERFORM ROBOTIC PROSTATECTOMY: Omar Hamoui, M.D., and Nabeel Hamoui, M.D., urologists of Shoreline UroCare, recently performed the first robotic prostatectomy in Hernando County using advanced, four-arm robotic technology, at Bayfront Health Spring Hill. The doctors will be performing minimally-invasive surgeries in the future using the robot, including kidney and incontinence surgeries. RESIDENT RECEPTION RESCHEDULED: The Greater Hernando County Chamber of Commerce 18th-annual Hernando County Residents Reception is on Nov. 30. It will be from 5 to 8 p.m. at Pasco-Hernando State College Spring Hill Campus, 450 Beverly Court, Spring Hill.
